Bue Marino

Bue Marino is a favorite place of Italians situated 4 km from San Vito Lo Capo. It’s a bay with white pebbles, where the sea shimmers in a variety of shades. Extensive mountain landscapes and the scents of local vegetation complement this amazing beauty. A mild Mediterranean climate almost all year round invites to enjoy this natural creation at any time of the year. However, the most unforgettable emotions are presented by the stunning sunsets, when the entire horizon is painted in a purple-red color!

Lido Mazzarò is one of the best beaches of the Sicilian resort Taormina. With its luxurious cafes and summer restaurants located along the entire coastline, a few years ago this beach was very popular among Hollywood celebrities. But nowadays it has become more democratic, but it continues to be a real ‘hot spot’ from April to October.

Lido Mazzarò Beach is well equipped for different activities as well as for the fans of swimming and sunbathing. By the way, you need only 15 minutes to get to the beach by cable car.

Mondello Beach is situated only nine kilometers from Palermo – the lively Sicilian capital. The wide sand spit stretches for two kilometers, forming a cozy bay with clear blue water between the capes of Monte Gallo and Monte Pellegrino. Fans of outdoor activities can rent the required equipment for many water sports directly on the beach. In addition to the elegant villas that today have become one of the attractions of Mondello beach, there are many bars, cafes and nightclubs along the whole coast.

Spiagia Sabbie Nere is a black sandy beach situated 20 km from Sicily on Vulkano Island. The island is the peak of an underwater volcano and features geothermal sulfur mud. Making its way from somewhere in the depths of the volcano, this hot spring pours into the sea not far from the shore causing a boil like in jacuzzi. Finally, speaking of Vulcano, we should also mention the “Valley of Monsters”, where on black sand among the rare vegetation you’ll find scattered stone blocks resembling frozen fantastic animals.

Zingaro is one of the most stunning corners of western Sicily. It stretches for 7km from the small medieval village of Scopello in the east almost to San Vito Lo Capo in the west. The sea, which worked as a natural sculptor, created many wonderful bays and grottoes in hard limestone rocks. Under the rocks, hanging over the azure sea, there are delightful beaches with clear turquoise water. In summer, when many beaches are crowded, you can spend time in Zingaro relatively quietly.

Spiaggia Guidaloca

Plage de Guidaloca

Those who want to find a quiet alternative to the crowded resorts of Sicily, one of the most successful options is the sandy and pebble Guidaloca Beach located on the shore of Castellamare Bay 3 km from Scopello. Although Guidaloca resists globalization, the visitors can find there typical beach services: deckchairs, water sports equipment, bar, etc.
