Having a web designer with a mission embedded in his mind other than promoting a business, it spells trouble. A few days ago we reviewed the source code of a website that has not established itself in search engine code. The designer had created a complex block of code to display the text of the page. This programming style text became invisible in the eyes of Google, which is a terrible mistake when you are pretending to promote the products and services to the customer.
Just as this case, we could speak to hundreds of sites that have implemented sophisticated design techniques that are not appropriate for promoting products and services online. The list is huge, endless. Unfortunately are more sites designed with these “special techniques” produced by applying best practices in web design?
Designing a useful and effective website is not easy task, but that has not been complex. We simply must focus our efforts to make the site speak the language of search engines, instead of devising how to use those tags and functions that have found a manual to make life easier for us designers to create and maintain the website .
