Ikan-Ikan

Water Garden Hawker Centre

During the day, this snack bar offers delicious local specialties. Try the tantalizingly-luxurious ‘mi java goreng’, ‘kwai teo teng’, and the charmingly-varied mixed rice. At nights, this coffee shop turns into a seafood restaurant, and its location in Kuah city center makes this place especially popular – it attracts crowds of locals and tourists.

The Roof Restaurant

Serving seafood, barbecue, Malay and Chinese popular dishes, and built entirely from mangrove and bamboo trunks, ‘The Roof’ is a very attractive culinary establishment on Langkawi.

The food is not very spicy. You can order lobster on a banana leaf and deep-fried fish with salt and pepper. If you wish, ‘beef satay’ is also available.

B’n’Z Sempoy’s

Dishes served in B’n’Z Sempoy’s can be as hot as a hellfire, but delicious food will successfully overtop this taste discomfort. There’s a wide variety of dishes based on rice – try ‘ayam masak lemak’ and fried fish ‘sambal’. These fantastic delicacies are worth your choice.

The husband and wife own B’n’Z Sempoy’s. They are also the chefs of the establishment, so the food is exceptionally cheap there.

Orkid Ria Seafood

On Pantai Cenang there is a place, which is particularly full of restaurants and souvenir shops. So, you’ll find there the brightly lit Orkid Ria Seafood restaurant. This popular seafood establishment is one of the most expensive on Pantai Cenang, and its main trick is an extensive menu.

You can order tiger shrimps with black pepper and deep-fried squid with garlic – the dishes are little expensive, but nevertheless the restaurant is almost always crowded.

Kuah Town Seafood

Although the surrounding atmosphere is definitely not so special, the service and food are on top. Try chicken with dry chili, hissing binquird, or abalone and sea cucumbers in case you want something unique.

Eagle View Seafood

Serving superb fried rice in Chinese style, this air-conditioned restaurant should be your salvation from the scorching sun while visiting the Eagle Square. The dishes are not very spicy, and the menu is represented by a variety of options.

The highlight of Eagle View Seafood is that fish and seafood can be selected directly from aquariums decorating the walls, thus ensuring the freshness of the products. Fish will be cooked in Japanese style in the open kitchen.
